Dragon Ball Daima Is Done, But These 10 Moments Will Stick With Us for Years to Come

Dragon Ball Daima has finally come to a thrilling conclusion, but even though the series is over, some fight moments won't soon be forgotten. Dragon Ball DAIMA took a much sillier tone than any other entry in the franchise, drawing similarities to the original Dragon Ball series. While Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super put action at the forefront, DAIMA waswilling to let the audience laugh a bit more before introducing conflict.

Even though DAIMA might be one of the funniest entries in the Dragon Ball canon, it still has some of the best fights in the franchise. If Dragon Ball is known for anything, it's amazing transformations, breathtaking signature attacks, and impressive fights that bring it all together. Dragon Ball DAIMA has its fair share of top-tier tussles, and there's no way that anyone will forget about them for a long time.

10 Majin Duu Vs Tamagami Number One

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 11

Majin Duu's fight against Tamagami Number One is the first time viewers get to really see what the newly formed Majin is capable of. The Tamagamis are no joke in DAIMA, serving as protectors of the Dragon Balls. They're so strong that no other Majin in the Demon Realm has ever been able to beat them in battle, giving them a legendary status. Majin Kuu tries to fight Tamagami Number One right before Duu is made, and he fails spectacularly.

Majin Kuu and Majin Duu's opposing strengths in Dragon Ball Daima create the potential for a fusion that could become the series' next greatest threat

Majin Duu's fight against Tamagami Number One is a lot different from his brother's. He fights like an acrobat, flying around the arena and performing a myriad of gymnast-esque abilities to bob and weave around the Tamagami's attacks. After a hard-fought bout, Majin Duu is the victor, acquiring the One-Star Dragon Ball for his creator.

9 Adult SSJ3 Vegeta Vs Evil Third Eye Gomah

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 19

Dragon Ball DAIMA was never about Vegeta. For most of the series, it was only really about Goku, Shin, Glorio, and Panzy as they explored the Demon Realm and looked for the Dragon Balls. When Vegeta did get a chance to appear on-screen, however, he shined. Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta has been in a few of the Dragon Ball video games, but it's a form that was never considered canon. That all changed in Dragon Ball DAIMA.

Vegeta's transformation into the legendary third form of Super Saiyan against King Gomah is his first time using SSJ3 in his adult form. Vegeta fights valiantly against an indestructible opponent, even using a huge Final Flash, one of the most iconic attacks in Dragon Ball. While he isn't able to put down Gomah like he wanted to, Vegeta still puts on a great fight towards the end of DAIMA.

8 Goku Vs Glorio

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 6

Glorio is a suspicious character for most of Dragon Ball DAIMA. He worked with Arinsu from the beginning, trying to gather the Dragon Balls for her, but he never seemed like a true villain. He recognized that Goku was supposed to be the man responsible for taking down Majin Buu, but he couldn't believe that the kid version of Goku could really do much. Wanting to find out how strong the Saiyan truly is, Glorio challenges Goku to a fight.

Dragon Ball Daima episode #20 just released, marking the end of its run and leaving a bittersweet taste in fans, but will it get another installment?

Glorio doesn't have a chance against Goku. Even using his impressive Lightning Magic, the Demon Realm native can't match Goku in terms of strength or speed. The fight is relatively close at first, and then Goku turns into a Super Saiyan for the first time in Dragon Ball DAIMA, blowing Glorio out of the water.

7 Vegeta Vs The Gendarmerie Force

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 16

The Gendarmerie Force is supposed to be the five strongest soldiers in the Gendarmerie, the military under King Gomah. They're essentially Dragon Ball DAIMA'sversion of the Ginyu Force, and while they have a lot in common stylistically, the Z Fighters are measurably stronger than they were back on Namek. The Gendarmerie, like most people in Dragon Ball DAIMA, has a hard time believing that a group of kids can shake up the Demon Realm.

When Goku, Vegeta, and the rest of the gang approach Gomah's castle, the Gendarmerie Force thinks they won't have to put in any effort to stop them. Vegeta volunteers to take them all on at once, making the Gendarmie Force laugh in response. Unfortunately for the group, Vegeta takes them all out without breaking a sweat. It's one of the funniest moments in the series, made even funnier by Vegeta's nonchalant response to their surprise.

6 Evil Third Eye Gomah Vs. Everyone

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 17

It's not often that Goku and Vegeta allow others to jump in on their fights. As two characters who love fighting more than anything else, they're pretty selfish in battle. When they allowed all of their friends, and even some of their enemies, to join in and help fight against Gomah, fans realized just how tough the Demon King was. Goku and Vegeta are joined by Shin, Piccolo, Tamagami Number One, Majin Duu, and more in an attempt to put down the newly invigorated monster.

Dragon Ball Daima has come to a close, but it went out with a tremendous post-credits scene that sets up plenty of more story and can't be ignored.

The fight is a spectacle, as each character uses their own unique attack. Piccolo uses his Special Beam Cannon, Glorio uses his lightning, and both Majin Duu and Kuu use their own energy blasts as well. While it looked like they had the battle won, they were far from it.

5 Goku Vs. Majin Duu

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 17

Majin Duu is an interesting character in Dragon Ball DAIMA. He was created by the same Majin that created Majin Buu, making everyone think that he would immediately be at the same power level as his predecessor. While he's easily one of the strongest characters in Dragon Ball DAIMA, he's probably not on the same level as the final antagonist of Dragon Ball Z. Still, his fight with Goku serves as one of the series' best, showcasing what he could do against a Super Saiyan.

Goku has fought a lot of people (and monsters) before, but he's never fought someone like Majin Duu. Majin Duu fights like a slinky, moving around the battlefield by contorting his body into a variety of unhittable shapes. As their fight was heating up, they were interrupted by King Gomah, starting the final arc of the series.

4 Goku Vs. Tamagami Number Three

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 8

Dragon Ball DAIMA is much different thematically than Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super. While the three other entries in the Dragon Ball franchise heavily focus on fights, Dragon Ball DAIMA is a lot more whimsical. The first few episodes of the series didn't feature any major battles at all, instead showcasing Goku's adventures in the Demon Realm. When Goku found Tamagami Number Three, however, the fight was on.

Dragon Ball DAIMA secures its spot as the highest-rated anime episode of 2025 so far on IMDb, easily surpassing the series' top scores of the past.

Goku had to fight Tamagami Number Three in order to get the Three-Star Dragon Ball, and he didn't mind one bit. Goku's first priority in life is fighting the strongest beings that he can, and he was more than excited when fighting the Tamagami. Their fight is a thrilling one, pushing Goku to his kid-limits and forcing the Saiyan to go Super. Even the Tamagami couldn't believe how strong his challenger was, bowing out of the fight when he realized he was well and truly outmatched.

3 Kid SSJ4 Goku Vs. Evil Third Eye King Gomah

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 18

Dragon Ball DAIMA did the unthinkable when it brought Super Saiyan 4 back to the franchise. The form first originated in Dragon Ball GT, and nearly 30 years later, Super Saiyan 4 looks better than ever. With a little help from the Namekian Neva, Goku is able to tap into his latent abilities and bring the strongest Super Saiyan form out. The design is a little different from the original, making Goku appear closer to Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta at first glance.

Gomah pushes Goku well beyond his limits when he has the Evil Third Eye in his head. Even in his Super Saiyan 4 form, Goku can't keep up with the Evil Third Eye's ability to constantly heal King Gomah. Still, Goku is able to unleash one of the coolest Kamehamehas of the franchise, sending Gomah through the ground with a mixture of blue and red energy waves.

2 Kid SSJ3 Vegeta Vs. Tamagami Number Two

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 12

Vegeta fans feasted when they saw the Prince of all Saiyans in action against Tamagami Number Two. Goku wanted to fight the Tamagami, but they somehow agreed that it was Vegeta's turn. At first, Vegeta had trouble with the Tamagami, but he turned Super Saiyan and gained the upper hand. Neva, the creator of the Tamagamis, didn't want to see his creation so easily defeated. He gives the Tamagami a much-needed power boost and turned the tide of the fight in an instant.

With his back against the wall, Vegeta unleashes his most powerful form: Super Saiyan 3. It's easily Vegeta's best moment outside his Final Atonement. Vegeta turns Super Saiyan 3 and dominates the Tamagami. Not only does he beat the Dragon Ball's defender handily, but he does it mostly without using his hands. He folds his arms across his chest in a show of pure arrogance, only using them to blast off a Galick Gun and end the fight in style.

1 Adult SSJ4 Goku Vs. Evil Third Eye Gomah

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 20

Super Saiyan 4 Goku in his adult form is the pinnacle of Dragon Ball DAIMA. DAIMA did so many things right, and one of them was all the amazing transformations it brought to the franchise. Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta was amazing, but it doesn't beat Super Saiyan 4 Goku. While Goku had achieved the form as a kid, it is his transformation as an adult that really sets the scene. His hands grow in size, his tail comes back, and all his hair turns red, showing just how different Super Saiyan 4 is from its predecessors.

Gomah's Evil Third Eye keeps him in the fight against Super Saiyan 4 Goku, even allowing him to survive one of Goku's most iconic attacks. Goku's Super Saiyan 4 form is so powerful, his Kamehameha is able to blast a hole through King Gomah and each of the Demon Realms in an instant. It is an amazing attack made even better by Dragon Ball DAIMA'sanimation, making Super Saiyan 4 Goku's fight against Evil Third Eye Gomah the best fight in the series.
